The company started manufacturing cookware in 1971 and has come a long way since then. The first hard-anodized nonstick cookware was created in 1986 and today Anolon is known for the quality and innovation of its items. 

Anolon cookware features the company’s breakthrough innovations, such as the signature triple-layer nonstick coating both on the exterior and interior of the items, which makes them really easy to cook with and clean. Other features are induction capable collections, with heavy-bottoms for perfect heat conductivity. Is the nonstick coating of Anolon pans scratch-resistant?

Anolon’s nonstick coating is a special blend of sapphire-reinforced nonstick material that is triple-layered. This means it can last 16 times longer than traditional nonstick, and 80x longer than what is known as “ceramic” nonstick. This means that Anolon nonstick products are more durable and can be used even with metal utensils without scratching.
