AICOK Slow Masticating Juicer

In this post, we’re going to look at some of the top masticating juicers available on the market today and share our reasons why we picked them. A masticating juicer is an essential appliance if you want to make and enjoy fresh juice that has all the nutrients and vitamins. Here are our top picks.

1. Omega J8006HDS

BEST Masticating Juicer

Omega J8006HDS Quiet Dual-Stage Slow Speed Masticating Juicer Makes Fruit and Vegetable 80...
  • INDUSTRY LEADING 15-YEAR coverage on parts and performance
  • LONGER LASTING JUICES - Using a low speed of 80 RPMs results in minimal heat buildup and oxidation promoting healthy enzymes
  • BOOST YOUR IMMUNITY - Cold press juicing is one of the most effective ways to easily access nutritious enzymes and antioxidants that boost immunity and enhance overall health.

  • Efficient at juicing leafy greens and dense vegetables
  • Produces less foam and retains the nutrients well
  • Strong and durable parts
  • Versatile – you can use it to make a variety of foods
  • Almost quiet operation
  • Relatively simple to assemble and clean

  • Get clogged easily by soft and fibrous produce
  • The feed chute is small – can’t fit large produce
  • Soft and hard fruits leave a lot of pulp in the juice
  • Poor customer service

  • 200W motor
  • Single spiral auger (80RPM)
  • Stainless steel juicing screen
  • Dual-stage extraction
  • Automatic pulp ejection
  • Reverse function
  • Juice and pulp containers
  • 1.5 inch round chute
  • Stainless steel body
  • 15-year warranty

The J8006HDS isn’t the most stylish juicer on the list but the design is modern and it has a shiny silver-black finish that would look neat on the counter. You will likely have it on the counter all the time because it’s heavy (14.3 pounds) to be putting it away each day. It stays still though during juicing – the heaviness and the feet on the bottom help keep it very stable.

It’s also relatively big (13 x 7.4 x 15.5 inches) but sturdy with a strong stainless steel body. Many of the other components are made of a solid BPA-free plastic which guarantees long-term use but there are cases of the auger breaking overtime when juicing hard produce.

The J8006HDS excels in processing leafy greens and dense vegetables.  The motor (200W) provides high torque that allows the auger to crush and squeeze the produce completely resulting in maximum juice yield. Users remarked that the pulp comes out absolutely dry.

There’s minimum foaming and the strainer removes most of the pulp. Many noted also that the juice has a full, fresh flavor and lasts a bit longer (48 hours in the freezer).

It does juice harder fruits but the yield is not substantial. It can’t squeeze out all the juice from fruits like apple or pear and tends to leave a little pulp in the finished juice.

Soft fruits (berries, mangoes and pineapple) and fibrous greens (celery) are not handled pretty well by this juicer too. The yield is low and it often just sloshes around wet pulp. The screen also gets clogged up quickly and the juice that comes out is thick mixed with pulp.

The included pulp bowl is fairly large but the juice bowl is small – it can only hold a single cup of juice at once. The unit has drip stopping design though which helps prevent excess juice from dripping after use.

It takes some prep work and time (cut produce into smaller chunks) before juicing when using this juicer due to the narrow (1.5 inches) size of its feed chute. You can’t load larger or much produce into it at once which is inconvenient if you wish to juice lots of produce in one sitting.

Special Features

  • Adjustable End Cap: The end cap of the J8006HDS can be adjusted (has 5 settings) to further compress the food or juice by narrowing the exit chute which is a nice bonus that helps extract more juice. However, the cap seems not to fit tightly. It comes off several times during juicing.
  • Extra Strainer and 6 Different Nozzles: You get a blank strainer with this juicer that allows you to prepare all kinds of food. You can effectively ground coffee beans, garlic, and ginger with it. It does well too at making nut butter and frozen desserts. The 6 different nozzles are another nice addition you get which along with the blank strainer allows you to perform pasta extrusion, mincing and chopping of foods.

Set up and Cleaning

The J8006HDS comes with a lot of different components but putting it together isn’t a complicated process. The mesh screen is already pre-installed and a clear step-by-step installation manual is provided.

It’s relatively easy to disassemble and clean too although the filter can be difficult because pulp sticks on it and takes time to clean thoroughly. It’s much tiring If you juice soft and fibrous produce since they clog the screen quickly – you have to frequently pause to remove the pulp and clean it.

Should you buy Omega J8006HDS?

The Omega J8006HDS is a great choice if you’re mainly juicing veggies and firmer fruits. It’s a quality and durable juicer that can give you service for years. Besides that, it’s backed with a long warranty period although customer service seems unreliable when requesting for replacement parts – they are always unresponsive or the parts are consistently out of stock.

2. AICOK Slow Masticating Juicer

Best for Juicing Celery and Greens
Juicer Machines Easy to Clean, Aicok Slow Masticating Juicer for Hard & Soft Vegetable and fruit,...
  • Higher & Fresher Nutritive Juices - Slow juicer uses a low rpm motor which best retains the nutritional value of your fruits, veggies, and greens, and decreases the top froth. Less air being added during the juicing process also allows a longer shelf life before it needs to be consumed or stored.
  • Higher & Purer Juice Yield - This slower, low rpm process extracts the more juice from vegetables and fruits than centrifugal juicers, especially leafy greens. Upgrade strong filter and worm can help you make higher and purer juice.
  • Multipurpose - Masticating juicer can make various health foods for your family, especially for your baby. Like extracting gingers, celery, wheat grass, carrots, apples, oranges and other fibrous fruits and vegetables. A masticating juicer will give you more juice for your food itself.

  • Works effectively on greens and hard produce
  • Produces tasty, nutrient-dense juice
  • The juice is free of pulp and foam
  • Moderately quiet when in use
  • Simple to set up and clean
  • Budget-friendly and takes less counter space

  • Not efficient at juicing soft fruits
  • Not ideal for bulk juicing in one setting
  • Small feeding chute – can’t take large produce
  • A bit tricky to disassemble and reassemble

  • 150W motor
  • Spiral auger (rotates at 80 RPM)
  • Reverse function
  • Cooling port
  • 1.5 inch round chute
  • 800 ml juice and pulp containers
  • 2-year warranty

The AICOK is an aesthetically appealing juicer with a chic wheel-like design that’s bound to fit well with any modern kitchen décor. It’s not bulky (13.75 x 11 x 10 inches) – it can fit counters with minimal space and doesn’t weigh so much (9.83 pounds) making it easy to carry.

The body of the unit and the grinding parts are sturdily built using BPA-free food-grade plastic material. The motor is strong and durable too but the food pusher and the chute wear down over time as a result of rubbing against each other. The plastic inside the grinder also wears down.

Users found this AICOK model to be quite effective at extracting juice from celery, leafy greens and other vegetables. The auger moves slowly and grinds them with great efficiency. It gets out most of the juice – the pulp that comes out has very little moisture.

You get the same good results even for firm fruits and vegetables like apples, carrots, and pears. The slow speed of the auger doesn’t add heat or cause oxidation, so the juice produced is dense in nutrients and tasty. It can stay fresh in the fridge for 48 hours.

There’s less pulp in the juice – the strainer catches most of it plus the juice container is equipped with a froth separator (container baffle) which does a great job of separating the foam from the juice when pouring it.

Processing soft fruits like grapes, berries, and pineapples results in the wet pulp. You won’t get much yield from them unless you run the pulp through again multiple times. You can’t also run the machine continuously for more than 10 minutes which limits you from processing lots of fruits in one sitting – it has to cool down for at least 10 minutes after each shutdown.

The juice container it comes with has a decent capacity (around 800 ml). It’s big enough to hold 3 cups of juice. The pulp container is equally big. However, the feed chute is on the small end which means you will need to cut larger produce into small pieces to fit through it.

Special Features

There’s a safety lock incorporated in this unit which only allows the motor to run when every piece of the machine is properly in place. It’s a feature that makes it safe for even children to use.

Set up and Cleaning

Assembling the AICOK slow masticating juicer is a breeze as there are few parts to put together. The problem is taking it apart. Several customers complained that the grey cap is really hard to unscrew and it must be removed to get the filter out for cleaning.

Reassembling the unit is also a pain because the filter doesn’t always click in which makes the grey piece unable to fit properly – you have to take it apart and put it back multiples times for it to fit.

Should you buy the AICOK Slow Masticating Juicer?

If you are a juicing enthusiast and you enjoy making green juice, then it’s an option worth considering. It’s highly affordable, can give maximum yield and the build quality is not that bad.

Heavy-duty and stable body that let you enjoying a quiet environment and healthy life when making juice. Please touch the electric part of the juicer with the dry hand to ensure the safety operation.

Taking the 3rd spot is the Aobosi SJE-006 which is our choice for the best vertical masticating juicer. It’s a fully functional juicer and the reason we picked it is that it offers a nice balance between quality and performance plus it has a slightly wider feed chute that fits large produce.

  • Fairly effective at juicing dense and soft produce
  • Filters out pulp well and produces minimum foam
  • Wide feeding chute for fitting large produce
  • Almost zero sound production
  • Setting it up is not challenging

  • Struggles to eject pulp from the extraction chamber
  • The flap door on the feed chute breaks easily
  • Taking it apart and cleaning is a bit tricky

  • 250W motor
  • Spiral auger (47-60 RPM)
  • 304 stainless steel filter
  • Reverse function
  • Double feeding chute – 3.15 inches and 1.5 inches
  • Safety lock
  • BPA-free food-grade Tritan parts
  • 2-year warranty

The appearance of the Aobosi SJE-006 is quite pleasing. It has a nice contemporary style with a sleek stainless-steel-black finish that makes it look beautiful. It doesn’t take much counter space (measures 7.09 x 5.51 inches) but height-wise it’s a bit tall (18.11 inches) – you will need enough clearance between the countertop and the cabinets to use it comfortably.

The weight is substantial (13.2 pounds). Moving it around will be taxing if you have to do it regularly but the heftiness and the wide base keeps it very stable on the countertop. It doesn’t slide or wobble during juicing.

The main body (base) and main parts (auger, motor and filter) are robust. They can last a long while. The same can’t be said for the flap door on the feed chute. It breaks easily and you can’t fix it. The tab for locking it close is also somewhat very loose.

A majority of users attested that the SJE-006 has an impressive juicing performance. It’s able to get the most juice out of different soft and hard produce.

The yield is often high for soft fruits, vegetables and several hard fruits like apple and pears. It struggles a tad bit with hard vegetables like carrots. The pulp sometimes comes out with a good amount of juice left in it.

That said, the quality of the juice is great. It has a strong natural flavor from the produce and it’s clean. It doesn’t have pulp or much foam. The holes on the filter are tiny and distributed evenly so it works well to stop pulp from going through.

The major issue this unit has is ejecting the pulp. There are many reports that pulp gets stuck in the extraction chamber and inside the chute. The hole it’s meant to go through is small and rectangular. It gets blocked quickly thereby most of the pulp don’t get pushed out into the collection container.

Both the juice and pulp containers are relatively large and have handles to allow you to carry them easily. The pour spouts are also well designed – juice pours out smoothly without spilling. There’s a cap attachment on the juice outlet too which helps prevent dripping after collecting the juice.

Another impressive thing is that less prep work is needed before juicing. The wide feeding chute (3.15 inches wide) can accommodate different large produce without having to cut them (it can fit whole fruits) and you have a small feeding tube as well for loading smaller produce.

Special Features

The SJE-006 doesn’t provide much in terms of special features. It has a safety lock to ensure safe operation and an LED display with 3 press buttons which is a nice touch that makes it easy and fun to use.

Set up and Cleaning

Assembling this unit is not challenging. There are grooves on the parts that you just match to set them up. Cleaning it is where many had difficulties especially because of the pulp getting stuck in the auger chamber and the outlet tube. It makes it hard to pull the pieces apart and it also takes some time to clean up all the pulp from them.

Should you buy the Aobosi SJE-006 juicer?

The SJE-006 is worth the money if you are looking for a dependable vertical masticating juicer. It’s equally a suitable option if you don’t want a lot of preparation work prior to juicing.

4. Ventray 809 Masticating Juicer

Best for Juicing Hard Produce
Ventray Big Feeding Mouth,Large Chute,Masticating Juicer,BPA Free,Juice Extractor,Vertical High...
  • FRESH NON-OXIDIZED JUICE - Crushes large chunks of fruits and vegetables at low speed of only 65 RPM to prevent oxidation.
  • PRESERVE HEALTHY NUTRIENTS - Creates quality taste and texture while keeping vitamins, enzymes and beneficial nutrients.
  • ONE-BUTTON OPERATION, EASY TO CLEAN - Minimal cutting required, easy to use, wide chute fits up to a whole apple, cleaning brush included.

We picked the Ventray 809 as the best model for juicing hard produce because it has a powerful motor (240W AC induction motor) and a strong corkscrew auger which together can efficiently crush tough produce and deliver high juice yield.

  • Very effective at juicing tough produce
  • Taste and quality of the juice is well preserved
  • Juice has little pulp and minimal foam
  • Feed chute can accommodate large produce
  • Durable and makes less noise
  • Moderately simple to set up

  • It does a poor job in juicing soft fruits
  • Gets clogged quickly by kales and fibrous greens
  • Heavy to move around
  • Frustrating to disassemble and reassemble
  • Clean up is a bit difficult

  • 240W AC induction motor
  • Ultem Tritan corkscrew auger (65 RPM)
  • Fine stainless steel strainer
  • Angled 3-inches wide feeding chute
  • Reverse function
  • 32-ounce juice and pulp containers
  • BPA-free material
  • 1-year warranty on all parts and 5-year motor warranty

The Ventray 809 sports a sleek modern design that would quite much catch an eye when placed on the counter. Its footprint is small (10.6 x 8.7 inches) but it’s a bulky machine. It would sit nicely on any medium-sized counter but would probably not fit under most kitchen cabinets since it’s a little tall (19.3 inches high).

Moving it around is a hassle because it’s heavy (18.3 pounds). However, it doesn’t vibrate or wobble when juicing. The build quality is solid. The body and most of the other parts are sturdy. It’s a unit that can last a long time.

This Ventray juicer can deliver a high juice yield, particularly from hard produce.  Many reported that apples, pears, ginger, carrots and cucumbers get crushed completely – all the juice is squeezed out leaving behind a pretty dry pulp. The auger is able to crush even harder produce like nuts and seeds. It does a good job too on greens like spinach, kale and cabbage.

There’s little to no oxidation hence the taste and quality of the extracted juice is well preserved, and it can stay fresh in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. The strainer seems to equally work fine – the juice has little pulp and minimal to moderate foam.

Soft fruits like berries and banana are not processed well though. You get a wet pulp or pasty juice. It also does a poor job extracting juice from celery and other fibrous greens.

The other downside is that the unit has a small hole for ejecting the pulp. It gets clogged quickly when juicing kales, celery and other vegetables that have much fiber.

The juice and pulp containers of the Ventray 809 are large. They can hold 35oz each or 4 juice cups at once which is sufficient if you are looking to juice in bulk. The outlet for the juice has a drip-free cap so no dripping of juice when it’s done pouring.

You can load whole fruits and various large vegetables in the feeding chute. It’s wide enough (3-inch wide) to accommodate them and has a slanted angle that ensures produce never splash upwards as it’s being crushed.

Special Features

The powerful motor is the most outstanding thing about Ventray 809 and it has a reverse function which is common in all the other units.

Set up and Cleaning

Setting it up wasn’t difficult. The pieces have dots that you align to put it together. Taking it apart for cleaning is not such an easy task. The top is hard to twist open and putting it back again is a struggle. It takes a lot of effort and several attempts to get it locked into place.

Clean up might be frustrating too as the small pulp outlet is very prone to clogging – you need to disassemble the unit, clean it and then assemble it again which is cumbersome as it clogs frequently.

Should you buy the Ventray 809 masticating juicer?

For juicing harder fruits and vegetables, the Ventray 809 would be a fine option. Constant clogging is its only serious drawback but if you don’t plan to juice fibrous produce often, then you may not have to worry about it much.

  • Wider feed chute that fits larger produce
  • Can juice hard fruits and vegetables effectively
  • Produces less foam and filters out most of the pulp
  • Solid build quality and minimum noise during operation

  • The yield is low when juicing leafy greens
  • Pulp exit hole gets clogged quickly by fibrous produce
  • Assembly and disassembly are somewhat tricky
  • The filter and feed chute are hard to clean

  • 200W motor
  • Spiral auger (47 – 60 RPM)
  • Stainless steel strainer
  • Reverse function
  • 3.2-inches feeder chute
  • 900 ml juice and pulp cups
  • 1-year warranty

Like the Aobosi SJE-006 and the Ventray 809, this is another vertical juicer that has an appealing look and design. Its shiny black finish and clear chute and auger chambers give it a neat appearance that can complement most kitchen décor.

As for the size, it does take small counter space but it’s a tall unit measuring 19.5-inches high. The metal handle offers a convenient way to carry it although it might be cumbersome since it’s significantly heavy (14.57). It remains still during juicing and the build quality seems okay.

The Aeitto juicer features a powerful motor just like the other vertical juicers on our list. Its performance isn’t astounding but it processes hard fruits more efficiently. It’s able to squeeze almost all the juice out of them.

It also produces a decent amount of juice from hard vegetables and several greens. Kales, spinach, beets and celery don’t give much yield.

The nutrients and natural taste of the produce are well preserved. The auger moves at low speeds (47-60 RPM), thereby there’s no heat build-up or oxidation. The finished juice is smooth too with less foaming – most of the pulp is filtered out.

One downside is that celery and other fibrous greens usually get stuck in the exit hole on the way out. The hole is small hence gets blocked quickly by the fibers.

Aeitto has included 900 ml juice and pulp containers which gives you sufficient capacity to make up to 4 cups of juice at a go. The containers have a handle and spout to facilitate easy pouring plus the juice outlet has a convenient plug to stop the juice from dripping.

Now the defining quality of this juicer is its larger than average feeding chute. With a diameter of 3.2 inches, it can accept whole fruits and big pieces of vegetables – you won’t need to chop up most of the larger produce into tiny pieces which significantly reduces preparation time.

Special Features

The safety lock is the only notable special feature incorporated in this unit.

Set up and Cleaning

Assembly is a little tricky. The parts are hard to align. You may also have some difficulty disassembling the unit – the blade doesn’t come out easily after juicing.

Cleaning it is fine except the filter and the chute. They need a bit more scrubbing to get all the staining and stuck pulp out. However, the valve on the lid is not flimsy like that of the Aobosi SJE-006. It keeps the lid tightly locked preventing produce from popping out during the masticating process.

Should you buy the Aeitto Masticating Juicer?

If you want a convenient unit that can easily accommodate almost all sizes of produce (big to small), then this would be a suitable fit for you. The large and wide feed chute will take a load off your back with regards to prep work and time.

The Homever AMR-520 won a slot on our list as the best compact masticating juicer for the fact that it’s quite small than the rest making it ideal for counters with limited space. Moreover, it has received outstanding positive reviews from consumers because of the reliable juicing performance it offers and durable construction.

  • Delivers optimal yield from fruits and vegetables
  • Reserves the nutrients from produce
  • Less pulp and foam get into the juice
  • Lightweight and more compact than the rest
  • Durable construction and works quietly
  • The easiest juicer to set up and clean

  • Requires lots of prep work due to small chute
  • Carrying juice container is tricky – it has no handles
  • The installation manual is difficult to understand

  • 150W motor
  • 7-segment spiral system (80 RPM)
  • Stainless steel strainer
  • 1.5 inch round chute
  • Reverse function
  • Safety lock design
  • Juice and pulp containers
  • BPA-free Tritan food-grade materials
  • 2-year after-sale service with a 1-month free trial

One of the things that impressed many about the Homever AMR-520 is that it’s much more compact (12.52 x 12.99 x 6.5) than other standard masticating juicers. It easily fits on a small countertop and you won’t find it challenging to move either as it’s lightweight (10.08 pounds).

The overall design is very stylish. The triangle-shaped body coupled up with the sleek silver finish gives it an elegant look suitable for a modern kitchen.  Users also reported that it’s really durable – the body and parts are made of a sturdy plastic that can withstand regular use for a long time and the unit doesn’t wobble during operation.

Despite being compact, this juicer was able to handle a wide range of produce pretty well. The 7-segment spiral auger crushes the produce with consistency and thoroughly squeezes the juice out of them.

It delivers optimal yield from soft fruits and leafy greens like spinach. It’s also able to yield a decent amount of juice from hard fruits and vegetables like carrots, apples, celery ribs and wheatgrass.

The juice has a richer flavor that still tastes fresh even after a day or two of storage and it’s very smooth – the strainer has many fine holes that catch all the pulp.

Some foam is produced but it doesn’t end up in the glass. The juice container has a baffle plate that keeps the foam out when you pour the juice into a glass.

Doing long juicing sessions is not a hassle with this juicer as it comes with large pulp container. The juice collecting container is large too. It can hold 3 cups of juice at once and the juice flows out without spilling or splashing when pouring thanks to the convenient corner pour spout of the container.

The downside is that it has no handle, so carrying it is tricky when filled with juice. The other issue is that the feed chute is rather short and narrow, so prep work is needed to chop up produce into tiny pieces.

Special Features

The only special feature you get with this unit is the safety lock to help you assemble it properly and run it without accidents.

Set up and Cleaning

Although the manual is not that clear to understand, we found that this was the easiest juicer to set up. There were hardly any reported difficulties plus all the parts detach without much effort or struggle.

It’s super easy to clean too – the frame cleans up quickly with just a wet cloth. Another advantage is that the filter and the pulp exit hole don’t clog much when juicing leafy and fibrous greens.

Should you buy the Homever AMR-520?

The Homever AMR-520 is a quality unit that proves to deliver great results in juicing different types of produce. If you have a small kitchen or your countertop is limited on space, this would be a convenient option. You can also check it out if you just want a durable and efficient juicer.

7. Aicook AMR509 Masticating Juicer

Best Entry-Level juicer
Juicer, Aicook Slow Masticating Juicer, Cold Press Juicer Machine Easy to Clean, Higher Juicer Yield...

  • MULTI-PURPOSE NUTRITION MASTER - Masticating juicer can extract all kinds of fibrous fruits and vegetables, such as leafy greens, wheatgrass, celery, carrot, apples, oranges, etc. DIY Your Delicious JUICE.

The Aicook AMR509 is a basic, budget-friendly masticating juicer. It’s not overly impressive as the other units since it delivered mixed results. Nonetheless, it offers a decent way to try out the slow juicing experience which is why it’s our best entry-level pick.

  • Efficient at juicing soft vegetables and fruits
  • Retains the nutrients – juice is tasty and stays for long
  • Large capacity juice and pulp containers
  • Small in size and easy to move around

  • Struggles to juice hard fruits and vegetables
  • More prep time is required due to a narrow chute
  • Not that durable and moves when extracting juice
  • Pulp and froth don’t get filtered out well
  • It’s difficult to take apart to clean and put together

  • 150W copper DC motor
  • 7-level spiral auger (80 RPM)
  • Stainless steel filter
  • Reverse function
  • 1.5 inch round chute
  • Safety lock design
  • Pulp and juice containers
  • 2-year warranty

The design of the Aicook AMR509 isn’t the most attractive but the glossy black-white finish is appealing enough to fit in with any kitchen décor. It’s fairly small (17.8 x 11.5 x 9 inches) and lightweight (8.45 pounds) hence easy to lift and move anywhere.

The base is fitted with 6-anti-slip rubber feet to keep it stable but that’s not the case. There are several comments that it often shakes back and forth when juicing.

Durability is an issue too. The parts are BPA free but not heavy-duty to offer a long lifespan. Some of the plastic parts start to wear down and break after a few months. The auger also gets corroded quickly and loses its black color over time.

The AMR509 delivers a better result from lighter veggies such as kales, spinach and other leafy greens. It works efficiently, especially for wheatgrass. The 7-order auger grinds them very well producing high juice yield and less pulp – the pulp left behind is normally dry. It’s also able to extract maximum juice from some soft fruits like pineapple and strawberries.

It retains most of the nutrients. You get juice that’s richer, tasty and stays fresh for long (3 days). The strainer manages to catch the pulp although some do get through occasionally and there’s froth build-up which is equally not well filtered out ending up on top of the juice.

Extracting hard produce like carrots doesn’t yield a lot of juice and usually leaves behind moist pulp. Juicing celery and fibrous greens is a problem too. The strings get tangled up in the auger – you have to stop several times to clean it.

The pulp exit is also small. It gets clogged easily blocking the pulp from coming out. There were reports as well that the unit gets louder with time – the harder the produce the louder the noise gets.

The pulp and juice containers of the Aicook AMR509 have a large capacity. The juice cup can hold about 4 cups of juice at once, so you can process lots of fruits or vegetables in one session. It’s easy to carry and the juice doesn’t spill while pouring.

However, the dispensing section of the unit is poorly set. The juice outlet is a bit low such that you can’t get the juice container out without spilling the juice since it’s in the way. Both containers are not durable also. They break easily. The feed chute is narrow (1.5 inches). You have to slice most of the produce into small pieces before juicing.

Special Features

Like the rest, this too has a safety lock, so it runs only when properly assembled and fully locked.

Set up and Cleaning

Assembling the Aicook AMR509 may be challenging as they are more parts to put together. The biggest pain, however, is taking it apart to clean and putting it back together. The parts become very tight when it runs for a long time and it’s really difficult to unscrew them from the machine itself which makes clean up cumbersome.

Should you buy Aicook AMR509?

If you are looking to save some bucks or it’s just your first time trying out slow juicing, then you could consider it.  It’s capable of handling greens, wheatgrass and soft fruits but it’s one of the least durable models on our list.
